During the Summer of 2007, I performed an internship at the Rapid City Convention & Visitors Bureau. Throughout my internship, I wrote and revised news releases and flyers on a weekly basis. I also developed relationships with some of the VIP media groups in Rapid CIty both through personal relationships and follow-up phone calls. During my studies at BHSU, I worked for one year as the News and Weather Director for KBHU-Radio, the student-run radio station at Black Hills State University. Through this experience I learned the audio program CoolEdit Pro and managed a staff of eight. I also took Audio Production a class that required students to perform a radio show and several sweepers, whispers and promos for at least one semester. Through both my class experience and my position at KBHU, I have spent many hours in the production room. I have a few examples below:
